This update incorporates clarifications and amendments to the rules issued on May 29, 2013 and July 10, 2013. The goal of these guides is to provide an overview of the rules in a format accessible and consumable for a broad array of industry constituents. Although the guides provide an overview of the rules, they are not substitutes for the underlying rules. We will continue to update these guides periodically following our issuance of new final rules clarifying, revising or amending the new mortgage rules."
