Today the Guyana Teachers Union hosted the church service to begin the 36th Biennial Conference of the Caribbean Union of Teachers at the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church in Georgetown. The service began eith a lively song service led by the Messengers. The sermon was delivered hy Pastor Hurbert Jack and the 1st and 2nd Scripture Reading was done by Sister Priya Manickchand, the Honourable Minister of Education and President of the CUT, Brother Marvin Marvin Andall respectively. In the packed church, the congregation was mesmerised by the melodious voices of Clevrland Hutson and Yulanda Adams and the music of the Drum Corp. A special song dedicated to the CUT, "We are all one big family" was rendered by the Messengers. This is a grand beginning to the Biennial.
