Today, the White House Chief of Staff announced that we would not - TopicsExpress

Today, the White House Chief of Staff announced that we would not negotiate with terrorists. A great sentiment, however, this Administration has shown a willingess to continually capitulate when dealing with our enemies. Whether, Iran, Cuba, the Bergdahl/Gitmo trade---the list goes on and on. This confusing and mixed foreign policy has led to numerous failures in our dealings abroad. For example, just four months ago Yemen was touted as a success story. A stark contrast to what we see today. The foreign policy strategy coming out of the United States of America should be strong and resolute. We should be the gold standard in strategy, diplomacy, and even force if needed. Instead, our allies dont rely on us and our enemies dont fear us.
