Today the crew of station 17 A shift put Pasco Countys newest engine in service with a short ceremony and a long continued swap. Have some more tweaks to do but it is a ready to go. It is a 2014 E-one engine with an 800 gallon tank, front bumper mounted extrication tray with hose reel, wireless headsets and a bumper mounted bell that will transfer to all the future Engine 17s. Thank you to Chief Cassin, Combat Chief Gordan, Training Chief Whited and Battalion Chief Romanowski for being part of our ceremony. Bring on the nursing homes!
