Today, the enemies of the Straight Path celebrate the same way as the people of the ditch; on their faces is the same cruel laugh and just like their predecessors their hearts enjoy the same cries of the believers. But here again the question comes: Is this the end? No, not at all. Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you. A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest. (Surah Al Imraan 3:196-197) Allah has promised more than once victory and dominance to those who believe and hold fast to the Truth. He the Exalted has guaranteed help to those who keep steadfast on His Path. Verily, Truth will prevail over falsehood: Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them. And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islamic Monotheism) to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the Mushrikeen (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allأ¢h and in His Messenger Muhammad) hate (it). (As Saff 61:9) Know, that if today His true servants are being tortured, killed and burnt alive for their submission to Him, this is not a defeat, but it is a victory. They will keep on coming, one after the other, and this earth will keep on hearing their footsteps as long as it exists. Their death is an honour and every drop of blood that flows from their bodies, brings them many steps closer to victory.
