Today the rain is the heaviest I ever experience for a long time in Singapore ever since I came back from Senegal / Turkey. I received news yesterday Medina Baye was 44 degrees. Being there I have witness people are not easily bothered by the weather, all they are looking for is to be with Allah every seconds in their life. They pray, zikr and reading the Quran no matter what happened to them. You dont hear people complaining about the heat when there is no rain for many months, the food was not good, the road is very bad and no wifi. All they show you is the state of their gratitude in whatever circumstances they are going through. You dont hear them mourning over mosquito bites, no water, no electricity. You can only hear istigfar, la la ila ha il la Allah, selawat fatih and Jawahtur kamar. The people of Allah they are thankful to Allah for guiding them to solat, reading the Quran, selawat and zikr The power of gratitude lies in your heart. If you are thankful to Allah for what HE had given you in good and bad times, you know this life and this world cant give you any satisfaction. Luxury and comfort does not last long. Many people hold on to the gifts while some just want the Giver (Allah). Alhamdulilah Praise be to Allah for guiding us to Himself while we forgot to mention His name, His mercy surpassed His wrath.
