Today, the world lost a fighter and heaven gained an angel. Most of you probably never heard of a 14 year old boy named Blake Bowman, but you should. He was the strongest kid Ive ever heard of, battling cystic fibrosis his whole life and enduring over 150 surgeries in his short time here with us. Perhaps most amazingly, Ive known him for years and never knew he was sick until recently. If thats not the hallmark of the toughest kid on the planet, then show me what is. Blake, you possess a soul thats destined for much better than this world has to offer. May you finally get the peace youve fought so valiantly for.
