Today the world lost a great woman, a woman who I called auntie my entire life. Someone who was always there for everyone and cared for everyone as if they were family. Im glad that I was close enough with my aunt were she told me what she was always thinking, feeling, and everytime we spoke, she would always tell me how much she loved me, and that if I die I want you to know, not wonder, what you mean to me. My aunt didnt have any kids, so myself, my brother and sister and two cousins were always considered her children. We received love, guidance, and positive reinforcement from her. Thats all I ever wanted and needed from her, not just someone who was extremely generous when it came to holidays and birthdays. I just wanted to hear her voice and know she was well, and talk of her fondest memories in life. She really did love everyone, I just hope she is at peace and free of all pain in the afterlife.
