Today they did spinal tap on pop to find out what is going on because until this morning he wasnt really waking up! Hes more awake today and hopefully tomorrow will be better! They are treating him with every antibiotic available to aggressively treat anything he may have thats causing the confusion and what was blankness in his face! Till last night he hadnt spoken or really woke up but I slept at hospital and in the wee hours he said your my daughter (because of a running joke with him and momma).. Those words were priceless! He woke up this morning and knew us so thats y they decided to do the spinal tap today, surgery is on hold till he wakes up more, they dont want to jeopardize putting him to sleep for surgery until they r confident hell wake up from it! Hes like super human to lay there with a broke hip no pain meds and still fighting! They dont give pain meds because they dont want them to prevent him from fully waking up! Please keep praying as we are for a full recovery and that the spinal tap shows no cancer in the fluid of his brain anything else we can handle but not that!
