Today was REALLY awesome. We got our bible shipment in. ALL but 75 of them are here so we wanted to lay them all out. There are 575 bibles in this picture and there will be 650 going over by the time we are all done. :) 2 years ago when Nolan came up with this project we never could have imagined HOW many bibles we would distribute. To date we have handed out over 1,800 and over 1,200 of those are in Uganda. It seemed fitting to put him in the picture with the enormous pile of bibles. Nolan doesnt do any of the work anymore as its gotten a little crazy but Im so thankful God used a child to show us how he wanted to use us. ALL, yes ALL of these bibles in the picture are going to Uganda next week! We also packed up another suitcase full of more snacks for Suubi! We are taking over 1,000 snacks! We alone wouldnt be capable of this on our own, God uses people and hes has done JUST that. Our friends Rick Place and Sarah Bird Place are taking a team to Uganda on the 19th and offered us 13 of their bags to help us get them there. AMAZING! So Jason will be driving all 13 tubs of bibles to Chicago. ALL 13 supply tubs were donated by individuals and ALL the bibles were donated or we were given money to purchase them. Overwhelmed today, I sobbed over these bibles going in the tubs because this is what HOPE looks like. The children we work with have a VERY difficult life, nothing that anyone here can even relate to; but if we can give them Jesus then they have hope. They will have eternal life and inheritance in the kingdom of heaven dancing with Jesus. Thank you for loving these children!!
