Today was a Huge day in wagga ! Today we hosted our Angels Twilight Market and inaugural Santa Sack Race for Charity. A huge thank you to everyone who came along today and participated, shopped, raced and just supported the team. I can not thank the wonderful angels volunteers enough for their amazing effort! It was a great day sadly cut short by a nasty storm but still amazing all the same. A huge thank you to the AMAZING team from Essentials for women of Wagga for their assistance , they have being collecting items for the past 3.5 weeks and today presented THOUSANDS of essential items to help us continue our work supporting the most vulnerable in Wagga , it was very overwhelming to see the fruits of their labour ! A massive thank you also to our Volunteer Ashlee who was AMAZING she organised all the live music for today , the Turvey park Firies to come along with their truck for the kids and also an extra 10 helpers to assist us on the day ! Ashlees assistance was amazing and we could not have pulled of the day without her ! A huge thank you to her school Kildare Catholic for allowing her to do all this and for their supporting with the loan of witches hats for our race track and all the sound equipment needed for the day it was a fantastic team effort for the mighty Kildare catholic college Students and staff , So thank you ! A speacial thankyou also to Ron crouch Transport for the donation of their truck for our stage ! A very special thank you to our Crafty mummas from SE QLD who created our Racing bibs plus helped decorate some of our santa sacks ! you ladies rock :) A huge thank you to all the Guys from Masonic lodge Wagga who ran the BBQ and took donations at the gate to raise much needed funds for Angels , the support is greatly Appreciated ! A special thank you to Santa , for making a special trip from the north pole to hand out goodies to all the kids ! Thank you to all the stall holders who participated day an supported our event ! A huge thank you to all of our Celebrity and Charity participants who got involved and participated in the Santa Sack race for charity ! we hop that we have raised a bit of awareness for all of you and some extra funds ! most of all i hope you all had loads of fun Working together for our community ! A big thank you to Raywin for taking so many awesome photos for us ! A massive thank you to anyway who ive missed !!! a very special thank you and shout out the the very wonderful team from the Charles Sturt Suites and Apartments wagga for supporting Angels for the forgotten and taking care of myself and my kids this weekend , you accommodation is AMAZING and i highly recommend it to anyone traveling to wagga and needing somewhere to stay !
