Today was a day of tremendous joy for us as a local company donated an office-container for our shelter and they deliver it right to our door :) The office - container was given to us fully equipped: a desk, office chairs, cupboards and drawers. All these will make our day to day work at the shelter easier by offering us proper spaces for organizing necessary paperwork, storing medicines, blankets, dog coats, accessories, etc. Also, because winter its just around the corner the container is going to be ideal to keep us warm in the few breaks we will need throughout a working day. A dry & warm place will make such a big difference for us, enabling us to extend our time spent with the dogs, at the shelter, even with bad weather conditions. Our biggest thanks to the local company that thought about how difficult our mission is and that came to our assistance with something so valuable to our work! As we made this big step ahead we would like to hope & to think for the next step ahead that we could make. This would mean for us to have the office -container connected to electricity and this way to benefit in full of its presence in our shelter. Unfortunately for this to happen we would have to take into account a cost of an approximate 100 Euro/month and for this we would need to find a constant financial support that we can rely. If there is somebody out there, amongst our supporters that thinks that could help us covering these costs please let us know. With every progress that we made in our work it has never been easy but we never lost hope and we were fortunate to have by our side great people that trust our work and that support us. This time we also hope that somehow, the right solution will come up to warm up our days :) before winter comes in full and freezes everything around us. We would like to mention that the winter in the South-East of Romania where we are located, can have temperatures as low as -15C / -18C.
