Today was a day of ups and downs. I accepted the Operations Manager position for the Battle Creek Symphony, which I do believe will be a great and different change. It will mean that I will be leaving the restaurant position in a few weeks to start this position. On the downside, however, I have officially pulled the plug on my fall fundraising recitals in New York due to excessive jaw pain. With the attempt to get venues squared away and being unable to play for very long, it was necessary. Im hoping that I will be able to reschedule these for the late spring or sometime over the summer!
