Today was a day that is for sure but more than anything today I am thankful that my children attend a school that has an administration and a faculty/staff that views their students as more than just a student but as a child, as somebodys child that deserves their protection above all else (even above keeping gripers from griping)! I am thankful to work at a place that under any circumstances my co-workers find a way to make the best of a situation and to do what needs to be done to keep the kids we are entrusted as a priority. I am thankful for the Morris Police, the county deputies and the highway patrol (and anyone I didnt mention) that always does whatever needs to be done to protect and serve those who often fail to appreciate them for their willingness to sacrifice. Today I am especially thankful for the unfriend button on fb so that I can possibly prevent any unnecessary hard feelings against or negative opinions of those who would rather type drama into the social media world than embrace all they have to be thankful for around them.
