Today was a great day! Stella is gradually improving and getting plenty of rest. She was a bit pale yesterday but her color has come back and her ventilator is helping her breath normally. We had an x-ray result that showed her heart has gone back to where its supposed to be (since it was pushed over because of her inflated right lung). Her left lung is also growing much stronger. Its really amazing how far Stella has come in the last few days! We were able to get some rest as well after a challenging two days of transferring from Tallahassee to Atlanta and jumping into surgery. We had seven visitors today - family, friend, and our principal and her husband drove up to surprise us! They drove five hours, sitting through Atlanta traffic then drove back home after seeing Stella. We enjoy having visitors and showing off our daughter.
