Today was a sad day for Garrett and I. Our sweet dog Cody died. The last few days he has been in liver failure and while hospitalized the last few days he did not improve. For those that follow me and g - we rescued Cody two years ago after my divorce and he was a best friend to Garrett and me too ! He kept me company when Garrett went to his dads and helped both Garrett and I Through a painful time ! He was a blessing to our family and we will miss him. After we left Today to say goodbye Garrett and I were talking about the funny Cody stories and Garrett said mom this is what we need to do focus on the positive ....and so that is what we shall do !!! Thanks to all who have sent kind words and prayers understanding that Cody was part of our family !
