Today was a very powerful day in the name of JUSTICE and servitude. Attended the Bronx Housing Reform campaign presentation held by an organization that I am a member of CASA New Settlement Apartments Community Action for Safe Apartments (CASA) If you DONT know, you better ASK somebody...BE the change you SEEK. *****FACTS*** as a result of all the work this organization has done over the past year, POLICY is being put in place to make having LEGAL representation be a RIGHT in housing court, like it is in criminal court. GET WITH ME PEOPLE--Lets say TOGETHER...NO MORE EVICTIONS of our people!!! NO more HOMELESS kids, which 60 PERCENT of homeless people in OUR community ARE CHILDREN. LIKE if you KNOW at least ONE person that has been EVICTED and COULD HAVE USED LEGAL REPRESENTATION. Boom!!! LETS GET IT. ITs OUR town, lets take it BACK!!!!!
