Today was almost a workout fail because I broke my #1 rule of successfully completing workouts: DONT PROCRASTINATE THE WORKOUT!! I did a great class in the morning, but at the time I had planned to get on the treadmill, I decided instead that I should disassemble the broken bunk beds and swap all the kids beds around. It should only take an hour, I said. REALLY TIFF?!! AN HOUR?!! Two hours later there were mattresses everywhere and all the kids needed to be taken to their respective activities and I was in workout clothes that hadnt been worked out in. Well I eventually finished the bed project inbetween driving the kids everywhere! And what did I do with my Friday night? I hopped on the treadmill at 9:30pm like a super dedicated Spartan! Luckily I have about 7 episodes of Parenthood to catch up on :) Fridays workouts: • Sports conditioning circuit class - my favorite group workout. I brought Sophie along today. She ate a snack, colored, and gravitated to games on my phone for the last 30 min (a small price to pay for a hard but fun class). • The Bed Project. Yes, Im totally counting this as a workout because moving mattresses and bed frames everywhere is no joke! And the vacuuming! Ill post a video of me taking down the top bunk solo so you can see how cool/crazy I am :) • 90min endurance on the treadmill. 25% grade, 2.3mph at 9:30pm.
