Today was another case of God showing up and being in control of everything. A team from far far away (Missouri) came to serve with us and other ministries in our area. They found lodging locally in a cabin at a camp ground for all nine of them through Saturday. After an eleven hour journey they settled in and laid their heads down to sleep for the night. Around 1am one of the nine awoke to something on her skin. As she turned on her cell phone to illuminate the something she realized she was somewhat covered in bed bugs. Agh!!!!! She woke the others and they too found the dreaded bugs about them. Needless to say, they spent the night addressing their belongings and took refuge on the front porch of the cabin for the remainder of the night and early morning. After this dreaded beginning to their mission trip, they arrived at Loaves and Fishes Ministry right on time to assist in the distribution of food while ministering to the locals in the process. Brother Art gave the message from the bed of the truck and three hands indicated professions of faith. Regardless of their dilemma, they found joy in their service and completed it. Now...to find them lodging for the next four days. Lo and behold, the occupants of the ministry house they were to check into Sunday departed three days early. That left the need for nine beds on Saturday. Visiting Club 180 Ministry after serving at L&F, they discovered that C180 had exactly 9 empty beds on Saturday. Coincidence? Not a chance! God is in control. Realizing the owner of the infested cabin insisted on charging them for the one night spent in insect hell... a phone call from one concerned missionary :-) resulted in the additional refund. Like I said...God is in complete control! Love you Lord! ps... on Sunday after church at Club 180 we are baptizing one of the three who raised their hands!
