Today was another one of those days. Justin finally finished laying the new flooring in my room and putting a coat of polyurethane over it. He had gotten all the way done and was backing out the door with the last strokes of the brush, and a piece of board fell right smack into the middle of the floor. He went to get it, and he slipped and fell himself. He slid into the varnish, got himself covered in it. I got him oil to take it off, and he fell again trying to get to the bathroom. By this time, he is absolutely covered in sticky varnish, hurt his back and tailbone, and sliced his toes open all the way across the edges. So now the varnish is totally ruined, and has blood mixed in with it. He will have to sand it completely down, and start over. ::sigh:: Oh oh, and in the middle of it, poor little Willowby ran in to see what was happening, and got whacked in the head by piece of flooring, and got his hair covered in varnish too. I had to cut it all off, so now he has a funny emo cut.
