Today was excellent. James Gilles and I took the kids to Madison. First, we hit the zoo, and then had lunch at the Parthenon. We wandered about State Street for a bit, then went to the botanical gardens to see the butterfly exhibit. It was beautiful! But the best part for me was when we stopped in a Half-Price Books. I found Unicornis, a book Id had a long time ago but sadly lost. I had tried to see if I could buy it online, but it was always $70+. In Madison, I got it for $4.50. I was practically in tears because I had always loved the book and was devastated when I couldnt find it. Anyhoo, once home, we all had dinner and watched a movie. It really was a great family day out. I am officially a Happy Bonnie.
