Today was great. Our speakers were inspirational to the audience of would-be writers. And we, too, were inspired when two colleagues with a fantastic writing program presented a student of theirs I had met before. He is only a sophomore in college, and already he has published a very interesting book that is very inspirational to other students. I hope he will go to high schools to speak to younger students and motivate them to write. I was very impressed. I soon will be going to high schools to help students form literary clubs and will also be going to schools as volunteer to help with reading programs using our own books. My heart is with younger students putting their minds on positive pursuits, and especially communicating well. They feel so happy when they succeed. I used to teach creative writing years ago and had such fun when the students would win awards. Im looking forward to volunteering. Its great to be able to do this, and I thank God for His help. He is leading me in everything I do. It is not I who am in charge, and I am constantly amazed at what is happening. I never planned for all this. Now I want to be able to market well so that my authors will succeed. (This is one aspect I hate of publishing. Another aspect is the math when I figure out royalties -- sorry math teachers. And the last -- forgive me technical teachers -- is putting material on our website. The list of books we have is twice the amount on the site, but it takes too long for me each time to figure out how to put them in with pay pal connections. When something technical or mathematical is needed, my retention rate becomes almost zero. Someone else is going to take over the website now.
