Today was great! We got Penny to the vet and she was great and doc says she looks wonderful! We didnt get our straw donation due to the ice but hope to get it soon! We went to the home to make some changes and while we were on our way one of our team members Kelsey called us to inform us she had just seen the owner and they decided to surrender the shihtzus to us to be rehomed. They felt it was to much for them to handle and knew we could find them better homes. We arrived at the home and were happy to help out and give them a second chance at another home. We began working on the zip line for Missy when we realized the pen area was no longer going to be used and make the suggestion of letting Missy (the chained pit) to use it so she no longer needs to be chained AND she gets a new insulated shelter... They loved the idea and we all moved her over! We got her new buckets hung and made sure she had plenty of straw! We will keep following up and we are so glad it all its going in a much better direction! God works wonders when your out to do good! The shihtzus will be up for adoption soon and we will keep you posted... Also Penny has a meet n greet with a new home tomorrow and we are so excited! Fingers crossed it all works out! We will be getting the shihtzus checked soon with doc...
