Today was interesting. I was extended the ALS awareness ice water challenge by my mom, Heather Anne, and found out that a relative of mine had passed from this terribly crippling disease before I have recollection of her and that my moms best friends brother has been diagnosed for a year now with ALS. I know everyone thinks it is being wasteful but there are so many ways to be active about saving water!! (I used rain water from our neighbor) For one, you could go get some water from the beach since most people I see bashing this live in a fair distance to the beach. I will post a link to some facts in the comments about the water usage (in the state of california, since that is the state in severe draught) and how this challenge has had a profound positive impact on the funding of research for this disease. I would like to extend this awareness to my brother and dad Triston Di Zinno and Marc Di Zinno as well as Nick Salcedo and Andrew Dugger. I also challenge you to find a way of not using water from the municipal supply so source where your water came from!! And donate what you can even if its a dollar!
