Today was my Daddys last day of work as a Sr. VP at NBB, after 35 years. I called to have this sentimental moment with him, my hero, at work. Me: Daddy, what did you wear today for your last day? Dad: My best gray suit. Me: Did you cry today? Dad: Nope, held it together, been busy saying goodbye to lots of great customers. Me: Well Dad.....(interrupted by Dad) Dad: Well I hate to cut this short but I have to go, more people are here to see me, talk to you later.....click. :-) Business to the VERY end! I love you Rick Reed! Ive always been so proud of you and your work ethic, your passion for your work and the people you deal with. Ive watched you bend over backwards to help people in need, as an employee, a leader, and a Christian. Happy Retirement, Congratulations on this great achievement, and heres to a brand new and very exciting New Year. Love you!!!
