Today was my final day with my class before the Christmas holidays. We had a great time playing party games (musical statues is always my favourite), playing Secret Santa, and of course eating party food! At the end of the day, the class and I had a chat to reflect over our highlights of the year. It was interesting to gain some insights about what they enjoyed the most, and I was impressed to hear how many of the students enjoyed their learning in Mathematics, which is one of my favourite subjects to teach. As the students said their final goodbyes and walked out, even my ‘challenging’ students gave me a hug and wished me a happy Christmas. It’s been a rewarding year. But I’m definitely ready for a break... and I’m now looking forward to creating some more Learning Sprouts resources. :-)
