Today was my good friend Jimmie Wilkins last day at Legacy. At the age of 73yrs old he retired,I remember back in 2000 me and Jimmie would be doing some 14-16 hr shifts just padwrapping all day into the evening. Theyd drop us two off at a Exhibit House in Milpitas,Ca called CONTEMPO,with a 53 trailer with 200-300 pads,a case of tape,a case of shrink wrap. Come back at the end of the day,and we would have the whole trailer padded and loaded front to back,floor to ceiling. All theyd have to do is hook up to the trailer,pull forward so we could close the doors and head back to the yard. Back then we would do a lot of cash jobs,pad wrapping,household,man we had some long days,but he was a straight up soldier,and could hang with the best of them. Wish nothing but the best for you Jimmie,gonna miss you,but now live life at your own pace.
