Today was our last full day. This camp is off the beaten track a little but only 10 minutes drive to Hampden. Lockies Fish and Chips are still hot when you get back here, or there is very scrummy lunch to be had at Vanessas Cafe. There is plenty to gawp at in the Secondhand Shop in the old store. The beach is handy for a wander too. Today we added Yellowhammers and Magpies to the widlife sightings. My people went for a forest walk; so here are some more of natures delights and patterns. Dappled sunlight and a tannin stained stream. One of several cleared areas planted as lovely gardens and an old cottage from the late 1800s (no apostrophe). Herbert Forest Camping Ground. Tick.
