Today was our youngest sons seventh birthday. We measured both our boys and theyve grown two inches since last November! And our littlest guy has grown up so very much this past year. He is an amazing reader, highly individual and intelligent, loving and generous and goofy and kind. Though Im a bit sad and nostalgic, as I always am when one of our boys has a birthday, Im also so proud of him it hurts. He is learning to conquer his fears, to tie his shoes, to know when not to smother his older brother with attention, to ride a bigger bicycle, and to have an open mind. A wonderful foundation for a little guy with a HUGE heart!! Happy birthday Isaiah! I know this next year will be even more of an adventure. Mommy and Daddy are beyond proud, and while we cant wait to see what the future holds for you and your brother, we also are happy to take it slow!! Mommy asked him what he wanted for his birthday dinner. He said homemade waffles lol. So I made apple cinnamon waffles just like he asked for.
