Today was the end of an era, our Beloved Riptide, has taken his last stroll around the grounds of Lighthouse Inn. Riptide spent his summer days arriving early to the Inn to greet guests as they came in for Breakfast. Many times Riptide would await special guests who would smuggle bits of bacon from their breakfast to share with their beloved friend. Riptide served as pet ambassador for the Lighthouse Inn offering companionship and love to children of all ages who missed their own family pets while on vacation. A warm hug, a stroke of his fur or a romp around the playground was Riptide’s gratuity for the many services he provided. R.I.P Riptide Stone 1999-2013 “Riptide’s place was on the beach.
