Today was the first day of classes at Hamline. But I did not attend because I had to take a leave of absence this semester to try to gain stability financially and emotionally. It was frustrating but it needed to be done. But Im so happy with my life right now. I am leaving Starbucks after four more shifts. I have jobs I enjoy. Im working with TYSN and hopefully B.Q will be doing more things I can get involved with and yeah. Im doing things that matter now. Like, school matters but it will always be there. Ill get my degree eventually. But this time, for once, not being in school doesnt feel like being a failure. I feels like just detouring in another direction for a little while. Still doing good things. Im still moving forward. My degree doesnt define my success.
