Today was the last day of counting absentee and provisional ballots. The final numbers are in, and unfortunately we did lose to Mr Price by 106 votes. I just finished leaving Mr Price a message of Congratulations, wishing him the best of luck over the next 4 years. I have no regrets about how I ran the race. I want to thank every one of you that has given me support and encouragement over the course of the campaign. Words cannot describe how humble I felt as I reached out to all of you. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I encourage all of you to stand strong for our county and be there to offer assistance when needed to help make Dorchester County the best it can be. I will still be out there, watching our local elected officials to make sure they hear the issues and needs of our citizens. As long as they work together for the common good of the people, everything will be great. If not, well lets just say I have all my signs cleaned and packed away in the garage, just in case!. ..
