Today, was what I would like to call a happy/sad day. I saw family, lots of family. I saw cousins I had never meet, cousins I havent see in a long time, nieces and great nieces and of course my sister and brother. I gave many hugs and got even more. My children (3 of them) met people theyd never met. And we all promise to call each other after exchanging phone numbers. However the other part of that is we talked of seeing each other at other occasions other than the one that brought us together... a funeral. My dear cousin who we fondly called BabySister had her funeral today. As her son said her last party. I asked, Do you think she would be happy with all the attendees here? He said with a smile, yes I do. Now, I would love to see more of my family, all of them but I would not like to have to see them at any more funerals. Today, we promised to do better. Please LETS DO BETTER!!! Those who are gone now would want that. I believe.
