Today we celebrate Veterans Day!!! A few days ago I had the misfortune of reading an article where the writer criticized Americans for worshipping anything in a uniform. He went on to say that police,fireman, military people are not heroes. WELL....HERE IS WHAT I SAY.....At 49 and as a father I want my sons to look up to these great Americans who serve not for money or glory, but rather out of a sense of duty to God, Country, and Family. I tell my sons all the time that having heroes all through life is good.....and all these great Americans who serve....well....they are heroes to me..and I can t think of better examples for my sons to follow.....so for me. at 49,59, 69,79....until my last dying breath the great Americans who serve our country will be heroes.
