Today we celebrated the playgroup year with a party in the village hall. We played the traditional musical statues, bumps and sleeping lions and performed some favourite action songs including the Hokey Cokey. We had an indoor floor picnic with food the friends brought in to share and then invited the children who are leaving up on stage to receive their learning journey file, a certificate, a little gift and a photo album filled with happy memories of pre-school and photos of their new school/nursery. Good luck to the 17 children who will be starting their primary education journey and the 6 friends who will be at a new nursery in September! We wish you lots of playgroup love. Thank you for all the staff cards, kind words, gifts and cakes! We wish you a fantastic summer :)
