At the time those of us who were making it were completely unaware this would actually be a monthly thing. It came out of an idea that sprung one summers morning by a performer in the piece, Anton. Although the dancing is totally sublime a lot has changed filmmaking wise. If Id ever give any advise to filmmakers out there it would be if using a zoom lens use a stabilisation, avoid filming in low light and for aesthetics sake dont give your self a letterbox effect because you think it looks cool. It really doesnt. In fact it hurts not being able to see the full line. In this link we show the humble beginnings of something that has taught not only me a great deal about Dance Film but a heck of a lot more about me as a person.
