Today we drove in the car through Rome. Tony is a very brave man and Julie is an excellent co-pilot! Anything that you can imagine had happened on the streets of Rome and chances are it will happen right in front of you should you choose to drive it. A single lane instantly becomes 3 sometimes 4 lanes. The lines are still marked on the pavement but mean nothing! Motorcycles & scoters will pass you on both sides and against on coming traffic too! But thats not the real reason for this post. Just a part of our daily experiences. The real reason was our main visit today and that was the Catacombes of San Sebastián. You can see a bit about them here. Basically they are underground graves of the Christians which were buried just outside of the city walls of Rime back in the day. Barb and I had been here before and a second visit is just as interesting! As I have attached a video for your viewing pleasure I will attach a sample of our daily photos on another post.
