The pups had the best time and got super muddy so when we got back I hosed them down and put them out on the 2nd story porch to dry out. A part of the porch didnt have a rail but I was sure the dogs wouldnt go walking on the metal roof. I was wrong. Next thing I knew Jack was sliding on his belly down the roof trying to scrabble his way back on the porch. I was standing below, arms outstretched, hoping against hope I could catch a 100 pound dog falling off the roof. I have no idea how he did it - I think he grew temporary wings - but somehow he didnt fall and made it back up on to the porch. No broken dogs today! Phew!
