Today we had the closing session of the District Convention. Dr. John Button has now been officially elected to serve as the 2014-15 Kiwanis International President. Our Cal-Nev-Ha Executive Director, Lori Butler, accepted the 2012-13 Distinguished District award from Past President Tom DeJulio on behalf of our Past District Governor, Gary Jander. I thank all of the Clubs in Division 44 for your outstanding efforts that contributed to our being recognized as a Distinguished District. Lastly, I am glad to see that our International Trustee, Patricia Barsotti, is hanging out with Kiwanians of the highest quality - the Blairs of Kentucky. (Ive always been partial to that surname!!) Roger Blair is the Governor of the Kentucky-Tennessee District. This was a terrific convention. Lets do it again next year.
