Today we had the first meeting of the Save Toms Diner steering committee. Attending were Martin Schmidt, Charles Bell, Tom Valiante, Susan Dodd Courter, Susan Metzler Rawlinson, Tom Seretis. Lots of information was shared & well try to get it to you in a timely manner. We do have 2 websites - savetomsdiner.org & savetomsdiner - although neither is active yet. We are establishing a timeline. We will be working with a lawyer & accountant to make sure the proper procedures are followed. We are now set up to start accepting financial donations. We are not yet a 501(c)(3) organization but are working towards that status. Please note that any donations made before that time may not be tax deductible.
