Today we have a special post on behalf of a Past Client, Pamela Bryson-Weaver is extremely intelligent, well communicated lady and her son hijacked my heart for a few days when were were looking for homes in Halifax a few years ago. Pamela has written a book about Autism, as she lives with the lifestyle daily, through her son Johnny, and I assume there are so many challenges and joys surrounding his daily life. I was running a junior program for the Special Olympics to encourage parents of autistic children to come and participate with their children. A number of parents came to support the program. One father at the program come to me and said, “I wish that I lived at a time when people had great faith.” “You do!” I said to him. “By faith, you work two jobs to support your young family, and you still find time to support this program. Look at our neighbour, even though she is single-handedly raising her autistic son, by faith she takes it upon herself to come and support this program.” The father listened, nodded, and smiled. ~ Just for Today ~ Is my faith reaching out in love?
