Today we have an Endorsement from Brother Nick Bolyard Past State Scribe of Ohio To the Members and Advisors of DeMolay International: Greetings! My name is Nick Bolyard, and I am a Past State Scribe of Ohio DeMolay. I served Ohio DeMolay in 2011-2012, and was fortunate to serve with one of the best State Master Councilors in the history of Ohio DeMolay. It is with pleasure that I write to each of you endorsing Bro. Robert William Laing for the honorable office of International Master Councilor for the 47th Congress. Beyond the organizational side, this young man has displayed brotherhood, and has been a leader to the members of not just Ohio, but to other jurisdictions. While serving as State Scribe, Bro. Laing engineered a new beginning in Ohio, by creating programs that would involve, and improve all Chapters in the jurisdiction. One implementation would be the State Master Councilor Chapter Communication Representative, known as a SMC-CCR. This program gave one member of each chapter the opportunity to be the liaison between the chapter and the state council. Through improving the communication of our jurisdiction, Ohio DeMolay saw some of the best participation in state events in the recent history. As many others have said, Brother Laing has been more than innovative; he has been a role model and leader to the young men. This organization is run by the young men, and Brother Laing gives those young men a voice. Listening to them, Bro. Laing implemented state events and regional communications that were desired by the members, which are immediate ingredients to success. The best title I can think of for Bro. Laing is Brother. Bro. Laing has been a true Brother to each young men of this organization. I cannot explain the amount of times that he has been there for each young man in this jurisdiction, me included. As the State Scribe, I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to be his right hand man during the 2011-2012 term. Brethren, there is no better individual for the office of International Master Councilor than Bro. Laing. It is with deep pleasure and gratitude that I extend this letter to each of you. I hope that each of you support a great leader, my dear friend and Brother, Bro. Robert Laing.
