Today, we have made our voice heard. But tomorrow is a time for silence. No matter which way this referendum goes, a lot of people will be questioning their identity and how they view their country, mourning a loss that will be keenly felt across the land and, after so much division and tension, reunification will need to begin. So tomorrow, if you win, I dont think it is right to post a jubilant status. Its not right to rub it in the faces of those whose emotions will be running high. Keep your relief and joy in your heart as you, at least, will have received a gift that didnt go to everyone. At 10pm I will remove my politicised profile picture. We have made our points, our opinions clear. The time for campaigning is very nearly over, and tonight and tomorrow will be the time for us to pause and reflect over what has probably been one of the UKs most engaged political debate in history. It looks like almost half our country will be in pain tomorrow. If Im not among them, Ill be thinking of them.
