Today we lost Babe.My third Frenchie from FBRN and one we adopted! I believe she had 6 different homes between fosters and adoptees! Her real home was here when she was 8.She struggled with allergies and infections which I truly believe came from anxiety and no stability.She loved her immediate family and home! She loved routine.Always went outside and ate like a champ.She was forever our babe..woke us up in middle of night to eat but not lately..she was our heart and soul, Craigs best friend.She is gone.Cancer in the spleen.She could not walk today, and struggled so hard.Craig and I sat with Renee Bugenhagen and cried and cried.It is loosing your family, as bad as your closest member.I dont care when people think Im crazy..4 dogs , kids over all the time, work running...its worthy..life changing..Babe taught us there is hope and love and patience..She taught my children love and responsibility..life is about us as a whole not just yourself! Babe made us laugh everyday and also frustrated us with her routines..I dreaded out if town because I knew she would miss us and have the worse anxiety!my girls sobbed , their friend is gone their baber! We all struggle with loss, it will never heal , never forget..I dont regret loving people a little more, loving dogs a little more, loving the patient who drives u crazy..its who I am and My Babe would tell u that.I hope I made the right decision with Craig today..I will ponder god awhile.Till we meet agsin Babe, my sleeping partner, my yodeler! I love u always and my heart is breaking, dont know when I will breathe the same again
