Today we lost one of our most loyal friends at Southside. Ginger Moore is one of our first volunteers, she trained so many of us at PetSmart, she is a board member, a foster mom, and she has groomed most of our animals at her store the Peppermint Bark until she became ill. She is the founder of our annual nut sale. Today we lost an wonderful friend and companion to not only the animals but to we humans as well. God gained an angel for sure. She could always make you smile, every animal loved her. I will never forget her famous line when people would ask what is it, she would look at them and say with a very serious confused look on her face why its a puppy dog. Gingers family asked for an idea of something nice to do for the shelter in her memory. We have several ideas and once the task is completed in the spring we will have a Celebration in honor of her life. God speed my dear friend. You will forever be in our hearts. We love you!
