Today, we met Mallory. Thats what her name tag said and she confirmed it when she, with confused eyes, told me she wondered how I knew. :) Mallory is 20 years old and works at Panera and is quite friendly and eager to share what is on her heart. As we listened to personal stories about her family as we ate our Sunday morning bagels, I found myself a little guilty of wanting to rush her along because, well, she has a lot on her heart and we had places to go. Then, God told me that we needed to just stop. And to listen. And to love. After we said our goodbyes to our new friend, we walked into The Place to worship and were greeted with this sign: Journey: A place that puts others before ourselves and Christ above all. Joshua and I truly believe that loving God and loving others is not Jesus suggestion, but his greatest commandment and we are excited to not just go to church, but to BE the church with others whose hearts are busting at the seams to do the same.
