Today we met with the principle stakeholder, the lead counselor in the current divorcing parents seminar and several of the staff members of Advocates for Children to review all six of the shorts and we could not be more pleased with their reactions. The most heard comment, over and over, was where did we find such talented cast members? On the heels of the talent comment (and equally important) came comments about the quality of the filming, editing and sound. For those of us in the filmmaking arena, we know it takes both pieces and so much more to make something special. From the script writing to the casting to location scouting, through filming and then post-production, hundreds of hours of work go into making even one of these shorts, let alone six of them. On behalf of the entire production company, we could not be more pleased with the results and are quickly moving to close the few remaining tasks that remain to complete the final DVD for use in the seminar and to distribute to all of the cast and crew.
