Today we salute the #birthday of acclaimed #American playwright, stage director and screenwriter Arthur Laurents. Laurents remained closely tied to #Bernstein through #WestSideStory, first by penning the libretto and helping conceive the original work and then directing the highly acclaimed 2009 #Broadway revival.
