Today we started our Navchetna Shivir @ Enable India which is a school for the blind. All the time participants were blind. It was a challenge to take the shivir with them. Only 10 people turned up. We are three of us Dr. Priyanka, shibani and me from the AOL. I thought and dreamt of taking this course but couldnt speak a word. Although I sat with the mike in my hand for may be 20 minutes. All the participants were patient and they sat through the silence with me. Then I gave the mike to shibani and she took the course. It was very graciously done. She took the batch with her and the shivir came to an end with the satsang. Shibani sang beautifully the bhajans and the participants followed her. It was very nice. None of them had tasted the flavour of satsang before but they all sang with much enthusiasm. Bhastrika was given to them to do everyday as homework. They all agreed to do it. The Ladies were given homework for drawing rangoli and the gents were given to sow a seed of any plant of their choice and nurture it. One of ladies and one of the gents showed some hesitation but the rest of the them picked them up to do it. It was shibanis first course but she enjoyed taking it. I felt a tinch of let down when I couldnt take the shivir. Hope might take it tomorrow. Please bless me for that. Then we went straight home. Spent some time with my kids aarman and bhuvana. Weather has changed so much that bhuvana had fever. Its nice and cool and I would love such weather. Now I dont seem to relish it so much. Stayed at home. Good night. Good bless. Love jgd Aban.
