Today we visited the Sagrada Familia which is the biggest of Antoni Gaudis creations. It is expected to be completed in 2026, which is 100 years after his death. Without doubt it is one of the most astonishing structures I have ever seen, it simply takes your breath away. The size, design, colour and spectacle are extraordinary and to think that one man had this vision over 100 years ago is amazing. The pics begin at the entrance and are taken of sections of the immense hall including the stunning altar and the back of the organ. The last 3 pics show the detailed work done in the front doors which looks like ivy but also includes beetles, ants, snails and other insects found in a garden. Amazing.
